Make a Paper Elephant: Easy Origami Elephant Instructions

Learn how to fold an easy origami elephant with very simple step by step photos and instructions. It's so easy that even very young kids can make one.

	Step 1: Start with a square piece of origami paper. If you only have regular 8.5x11 paper, follow these instructions to make a square sheet. You can also use these colorful Printable Origami Paper.
	Step 2: Fold paper in half by folding the top corner to the bottom corner.
	Step 3: Let's create a crease in the middle. Fold in half again by folding left corner to right corner, and then unfold.
	Step 4: Now fold the left and right edges of the triangle to the center crease.
	Step 5: Fold both top corners to the side.
	Step 6: Fold the left and right corners in like this.
	Step 7: Turn the figure over.
	Step 8: Fold up the elephant's trunk and fold in back down like this.
	Step 9: Keep folding the trunk up and down like an accordian.
