Easy Origami Elf Instructions

This is how to make an origami elf with a jester hat designed by myself. Instructions are easy to follow thanks the step by step photos! You can use plain white paper and then color in the hat with stripes or solid colors, or you can also print a colored, square paper from the Printable Origami Paper page.

	Step 1: Start with a square piece of origami paper, color side down. If you only have regular 8.5x11 paper, follow these instructions to make a square sheet. You can also use these colorful Printable Origami Paper.
	Step 2: Fold the left half to the right, then unfold.
	Step 3: Fold the bottom half to the top.
	Step 4: Fold the top triangle corner to the bottom edge. Make sure the tip of the corner lines up with the vertical crease in the center.
	Step 5: Turn the paper over.
	Step 6: Again, fold the top corner to the bottom edge.
	Step 7: Fold the left and right sides up diagonally towards the center.
	Step 8: Fold the top left and right edges to the center.
	Step 9: Fold the hat "thingies" to the side.
	Step 10: Fold the tip of the hat "thingies" down.
	Step 11: Turn the elf over and draw the face. Now check out the other Christmas origami. Click "Like" if you like this easy Origami Elf!
