Start with a square sheet of origami paper. I am using an 7×7 inches origami paper.

Rotate the paper to make it resemble a diamond.

Fold the left half to the right.

Unfold.

Fold the bottom half to the top.

Fold the top triangle corner to the bottom edge. Make sure the tip of the corner lines up with the vertical crease in the center.

Turn the paper over.

Again, fold the top corner to the bottom edge.

Fold the left side upward diagonally toward the center.
