|Step 1: Start with a square piece of origami paper. If you only have regular 8.5x11 paper, follow these instructions to make it into a square sheet.|
|Step 2: Fold the paper in half by folding the left corner to the right corner.|
|Step 3: Fold in half again by folding the top corner to the bottom corner.|
|Step 4: Fold the left corner to the right edge as shown, then unfold.|
|Step 5: Fold the upper layer diagonally as shown. Make sure to leave a portion of the right corner unfolded.|
|Step 6: Turn the figure over vertically. The lower left corner of the triangle you touch the crease in the center of the flap. Make adjustments if necessary.|
|Step 7: Fold parts of the triangle down over the lower flap. Your figure should look like this.
