How to Make a Paper Star

Learn how to make a paper star so you can create a whole bunch of them and put them in a jar. They're really fun to make a you can't make just one. Otherwise it will be so lonely. Plus it's fun to make a lot and build a collection of different color stars.
The paper star is very easy to make with only a few steps necessary. Once you learn how to make one, you'll want to keep making more. Make a jar full for your own collection or to give away as a gift. Get out some colorful pieces of paper and let's get started.

Step 1: Start with strip of paper or ribbon. To cut out a straight strip of paper, first fold a small strip and then cut with scissors. |

Step 2: Tie a knot at the top as shown. |

Step 3: Flatten the knot (Make sure the knot is not loose). |

Step 4: Tuck the loose end into the pocket of the knot. |
